Michael Corley

Mike Corley is the founder and Managing Director of Mercatus Energy, a boutique advisory firm focused on energy commodity markets.

Prior to founding the firm in 2007, Mike held various roles in energy trading, risk management, quantitative analysis, derivative structuring and commodity marketing at leading energy trading companies and institutional brokerage firms.

His insights have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, CNBC, Bloomberg, BBC, and leading industry publications including Argus, OPIS, Platts, and S&P Global Commodity Insights. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and guest lecturer at leading universities worldwide.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma and completed the Executive Leadership Programme at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
