Michael R. Corley

Mike Corley is the Founder and Managing Director of Mercatus Energy. 

Mr. Corley advises clients on complex mandates spanning the full range of physical and financial energy commodity markets around the world. Prior to founding the firm in 2007, he held senior roles in trading, risk management, quantitative analysis, and structured products at leading energy trading companies and institutional brokerage firms.

Mr. Corley is a frequent speaker at major industry conferences and guest lecturer at leading universities worldwide. His perspective on energy markets is regularly sought by Reuters, Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, CNN, and the BBC, as well as specialist publications including Argus, Energy Risk, OPIS, Platts, and S&P Global Commodity Insights.

Mr. Corley received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma and completed the Executive Leadership Programme at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
